Our Goal, Aims, and Core Competencies

Our Goal:

Our goal is to train capable and compassionate board-certified Radiation Oncologists who are prepared for independent practice by providing an environment in which they can experience the full scope of the specialty, enabling them to learn how to practice evidence-based medicine, and training them to conduct and interpret cancer research. • Broaden our educational program by incorporating guest speakers from physicians outside of our program and our institution.
  • Emphasize strong inter-professional and interdisciplinary relationships and improve resident communication skills to ensure high-quality and safe patient care.
